Cameras a board can justify and a manager can actually use

Most community camera systems were installed once, never maintained, and are discovered to be dead the day something happens. We design camera systems for HOAs and condominium associations around the incidents communities really have: vehicle break-ins, pool trespass, dumped trash, gate strikes and liability claims at the amenity center. Cloud video means no DVR to fail, AI analytics mean alerts instead of hours of footage review, and NDAA-compliant equipment means nothing the board has to explain later.

Why communities call us about cameras

  • The footage was not there when it mattered. A dead hard drive, an overwritten week, a camera pointed at the wrong lane.
  • Nobody can get to the video. The DVR is in a locked closet and the one person who knew the password resigned from the board.
  • Plates are unreadable. Standard cameras at a gate cannot capture a plate at night or at speed.
  • Pool and clubhouse incidents with no record. Trespass, damage and injury claims the association cannot document.
  • Cameras from a company that no longer answers the phone.

What we install for communities

Cloud video. Eagle Eye Networks cloud VMS: no on-site server, retention set by policy, access from any browser or phone with permissions by role for manager, board and security patrol.

License-plate recognition at the gate. Dedicated LPR cameras that capture plates in Florida sun and at night, tied to gate events so every entry is searchable by plate.

Amenity and common-area coverage. Pool decks, clubhouses, fitness rooms, mail and package rooms, playgrounds and dog parks with coverage planned around sightlines, not camera count.

AI analytics and alerts. After-hours motion at the pool, vehicles loitering at the gate, people in areas that should be empty — pushed to the manager or patrol instead of discovered later.

NDAA-compliant hardware. Axis, Hanwha and Digital Watchdog cameras rated for heat, rain and lightning; we removed non-compliant brands from our offerings in 2019.

Integration with access control. Gate and door events paired with video so an incident is one record.

From coverage map to live video

  1. Free site survey. We walk entrances, amenities and problem areas with the manager and map coverage against the incidents you have actually had.
  2. Board-ready proposal. Camera positions on a site plan, retention and cloud costs spelled out, options for phasing.
  3. Installation around residents. Trenching and cabling scheduled with notice; amenities stay open.
  4. Training for manager, board and patrol. Finding footage, exporting a clip for the police or insurer, reading alerts.
  5. Monitoring and maintenance. Camera health alerts, lens cleaning and firmware on a schedule, phone support during service hours and a 24/7 answering service after hours.

For the board treasurer

Cloud video turns a capital purchase with a hidden replacement cycle into a predictable line item. We will show the five-year cost next to the install number, and we will tell you which existing cameras can stay.
